I. Event Overview
The MYIR Electronics AI × Mechanical Innovation Challenge is open to all developers, students, and makers. Participants are required to independently develop an AI- or mechanical-oriented creative project based on the MYIR Electronics development board (Model: MYD-LR3576-32E4D-220-C) and submit a complete video demonstration, engineering documentation, and open-source code.
The competition is conducted entirely online and aims to encourage creativity, hands-on skills, and practical engineering capability.

II. Eligibility
• Participation is limited to individuals or teams of up to two members
• Participants may come from schools, companies, laboratories, or independent developer communities
III. Competition Process
- Participants scan the QR code at the bottom of the announcement via WeChat and complete the registration form within the specified time.
- The MYIR Electronics organizing committee will select 15 participants based on the registration information, create a WeChat group, and ship development boards to the selected participants.
- Participants begin project development upon receiving the development board.
- After completing the project, participants must return the development board and submit their video demonstration, open-source code, and engineering documentation for evaluation.
- The organizing committee will complete the review process, announce the competition results, and conduct the award ceremony.
IV. Project Submission Requirements
Each submission must include the following three required components:
1. Video Demonstration (Required)
• Duration: 1–3 minutes minimum
• Content must include:
o A complete demonstration of project functionality
o Footage of the robot/device operating in real conditions
o If AI models are used, inference results must be shown (e.g., image detection, gesture recognition, control logic visualization)
o Purely AI-generated virtual effects may not be used to replace real hardware operation
2. Open-Source Code (Required)
The submission must include:
• A complete, runnable project (including source code)
• A clear and well-organized file structure
• A README file (including dependencies, execution steps, and model sources)
• If AI models are used, the training or inference workflow must be clearly explained
Submission format:
• GitHub or Gitee repository link
• Or a ZIP package upload (to be archived centrally by the organizing committee)
3. Engineering Documentation (Required)
The engineering documentation must include:
• Project background and objectives
• Functional design (architecture diagrams / flowcharts)
• Hardware and circuit descriptions (external peripherals must include model numbers and wiring details)
• Key technical explanations (AI inference, control algorithms, communication workflows, etc.)
• Debugging process and problem-solving approaches
• Summary of project highlights
Format requirements:
• PDF format, ideally 5–15 pages
• Markdown documentation is also acceptable (auto-exported to PDF)
V. Final Submission & Hardware Return
After completing the project, participants must return the development board and package the following materials for submission to the competition assistant:
- Video demonstration
- Open-source code
- Engineering documentation
The competition assistant will forward the materials to the judging panel for review.
⚠️ Important:
The evaluation process will begin only after the development board has been received. Participants are therefore required to return the board promptly upon project completion.
VI. Tracks and Evaluation Criteria
To encourage diverse skill sets, the competition features two independent tracks:
1. Engineering Innovation Track – Evaluation Criteria
• Functional completeness
• Technical implementation difficulty
• Innovation and scalability
• Quality of video presentation
• System stability and evidence of debugging
2. Engineering Documentation Track – Evaluation Criteria
